It doesn’t matter if your roofing project is large or small – LB Roofing has got you covered.
As the most trusted and best roofers in Atlanta; we don’t take shortcuts. We don’t cut corners. We don’t skimp on labor and materials for your project. Our employees are trained professionals. Each crew has a manager on site to supervise and make sure the job goes smoothly. Here are nine standard things we do on each and every job to insure that you are getting a superior roof installed—POUND FOR POUND THE BEST ROOF IN TOWN.
1. Roof Deck Preparation
We tear off the entire roof down to the wood and inspect it thoroughly. We re-nail any boards that have come loose and replace any damaged or deteriorating sections so that we have a uniform canvas and solid work foundation.
2. Added Leak Barrier
We give special attention to the potential leak areas—like valleys, chimneys, skylights and dormers—and reinforce them with a peel-and-stick, highly durable ice and water shield so that you never have to worry about leaks.
3. Superior Roof Deck Protection
Many roofers use a standard 15 lb. or 30 lb. felt paper. We use a high quality fiberglass-reinforced felt which lays flatter and is less likely to tear as the crew installs your new roof.
4. Cap Nails
Using staples to install felt paper leaves holes and does not adequately secure the felt to your decking. We use cap nails so that the integrity of the decking material is not compromised.
5. Dump Trailer
Nobody wants an unsightly dumpster sitting in their driveway indefinitely causing cracks and rust stains. We roll in a dump trailer on wheels the morning of your roof installation and roll it out the same day when your project is complete.
6. Job Site Management
We recognize that the job site is foremost your home, and you don’t want a lot of building supplies cluttering up your yard. It is our practice to have materials delivered to your home no sooner than the night before we roof your house. We complete most roofing jobs in a day, clean up our mess, haul off the debris and get out of your way as quickly and quietly as possible.
7. Shingle Installation
It would be a lot quicker and cheaper to just use two to four nails per shingle, but we exceed the recommended minimum and use five to six nails per shingle for better wind-uplift protection. We also chalk our lines to make sure the shingles are installed in a linear fashion.
8. High-Quality Materials
9. Aesthetics
We take pride in our work and want you to be proud of our workmanship as well. It’s the little things that separate a good roof from a great one. for example, We pay attention to the small details and make sure that your roof not only functions properly, but is also beautiful.
